We spent some time exploring the town of Hershey, Pennsylvania, founded by chocolate maker Milton Hershey.

Hershey used byproducts of the process to make and sell soap, cocoa butter, and cocoa bean hull mulch.

Hershey owned dairies that provided the milk, and sold dairy products as well.

At one point in his career, Hershey owned a soda fountain shop.

During WWII, Hershey chcolate bars were a standard part of soldiers rations.

Cows are a big part of Hershey's.

The town had its own baseball team.

Of the six samples, I must say that Hershey's was our least favorite.

The town's streetlights are fashioned like Kisses.

No line for the ride.

It started out relaxing.

Then the cacophony began.

It was kind of interesting to see the choclolate-making process.

It has a huge gymnasium.

And its own dairy barn.

With an ice cream shop.
