A quick weekend getaway with friends at the beach.

A couple of classy rigs.

Kathy and Robin get comfortable.

It's very fancy, too.

With their own personal touches.

Settled into our site (51T).

Kate and Kathy got cozy with coffee.

Robin and I took a walk to the beach.

It was a gorgeous day.

We've added a few personal touches to Bessie.

Bailey rested after our beach walk.

The prayer flags Jesse gave us.

Kathy and Robin enjoyed cocktails and Bananagrams.

Kathy and Robin got their new Bambi last year.

A handcrafted shelter.

Robin writes in the sand.

It's a tradition for her, on every beach they go to.

Bailey loved getting in two beach walks.

Checking out the sunset.

Cloudy, but pretty.

And Robin for 22 of them.

Then it was back to the beach with all of us.

And a little dip.

The sun sinks below the clouds.

The best of friends for almost 25 years.

We say goodnight to the beach.

The next morning, Robin cooked a delicious frittata for breakfast.

With stomachs full, we walked again to the beach.

The sun was shining through the fog.

Kate had to stand on the road for reception to make a phone call.

Peaceful walk to the beach.

Soaking up the sun.

And the love/

At noon, it was 70 degrees at the beach.

We walked for miles.

Barefoot!

We couldn't figure out what made them.

Remarkable tracks in the sand look like trees.

Birds and surf.

People sitting on a log.

Squishing toes in sand.

Noses, too.

More interesting patterns in the sand.

In January!!

Back at the campground, it was time to pack up.

And Kate made this comforter cover.

We didn't really want to go home.
