We spent another weekend with my sister and brother-in-law at their log cabin in Sunrise Beach on Lake LBJ.

Beth and Don were very tolerant of the fur kids.

On Saturday, Heidi and Jamie came to visit.

We went to the park for a picnic, but it was pretty cold.

Beth hides inside her sweatshirt.

Jamie was bundled up, too.

Bailey just snoozed in the sun.

"Anybody up for a game of Kadema?"

Beth and I played the first round.

Gotta love that technique.

Mine is much less exciting.

Next Jamie played with Beth.

Beth's the Kadima Queen.

Heidi joined in.

Don and Jamie played later.

They have a unsocial cat, too, so they understand.

Gypsy saves her love for Kate.

On Sunday, we too a wildflower drive.

Wildflowers are all over Hill Country this time of year.

Especially the state flower, blue bonnets.

Posing in blue bonnets is a Texas tradition.

So, of course, we had to.

Some other flowers.

We stopped by Llano.

Convict deer in front of the jail.

We had a little picnic.

Rock cairns are a tradition by the river here.

This one's quiet impressive.

A granite Texas star.

And a LEAF sign ??

A sand castle.

It was beautifully done.

So detailed.

I posed Little Bear so Beth could take a photo.

Little Bear likes to travel with her.

We found some wildflowers on an old railroad track.
