One Year on the Road

Our first day at the Grand Tetons, they were partially obscured.

A huge cloud bank rested on top of them.

We went to the Visitors Center, just outside the Moose entrance to the park.

We looked for foxes not to feed but found none.

I do love moose!

We took a short hike to the Murie Center.

This was the home of Adolf and Louise Murie, who also lived in Alaska.

This was the home of Mardy and Olaus Murie.

It has been kept just as they lived in it.

Mardy lived here alone for 40 years after her husband died.

They raised three children here.

Back at the Visitor Center.

The clouds were finally lifting from the mountains.

The next day... blue sky!

The mountains were so bright with snow.

We are quite a sight.

The third day, we drove though again on our way to Yellowstone.

It was even a more beautiful day.

Gypsy was a little startled by the view.

They are an amazing sight.

Some pronghorn antelope.

The lake was so still, there was a perfect reflection.

Hard to leave it behind.

Just so stunning.
