One Year on the Road

We arrived just as the Pet Parade winners were announced.

These two won first prize.

They ate up the attention and didn&#039;t seem to mind the get-up.

There were lots of other great contestants.

Poodle in dyed overalls.

Frozen costumes.

Lots of rebel flags and crosses in the craft booths.

Suspenders and hats.

There was a large amusement park.

Cobra ride.

We had one of these in our town when I was a teenager.

This girl doesn&#039;t seem to be enjoying the ride.

Pharoh head.

Camel ride.

Bungee trampoline jumping.

Viking ship swing.

The Moby Dick.

It goes faster and faster.

We just watched.

Pony ride in a tutu.

Merry-go-round.

Carousel horses.

We loved this Jeep and trailer set.

We had dinner in the food strip.

Sweet boxer.

Pretty sunset behind the buildings.

What a sky!

We wandered back to the stage in time for the beauty pagent.

Girls of all ages.

Some had the poses and walk really down.

Some were less professional.

It went on for such a long time.

All the different age groups got on stage repeatedly.

The second runner up seemed disappointed.

The winner of this group was ecstatic.

Loved her enthusiasm.

This winner seemed to have grace and warmth.

We went back to the carnival rides for a bit.
