One Year on the Road

Gypsy gets her morning bottle.

Bailey likes kitten formula, too.

She wants to be wherever we are...

...doing whatever we&#039;re doing.

Napping together is the best.

In Ann Arbor, we stopped at Zingerman&#039;s Roadhouse.

We picked up lunch to go.

We had a picnic on the &quot;diag&quot;: the campus lawn on State Street.

It was a perfect place to hang out with the fur kids.

Bailey patiently waits for a bread crust.

I took Gypsy for a little walk.

The squirrels were very interested in her.

When one got to close, Bailey chased it up a tree.

There were half a dozen coming to see what this pink clad creature was.

Don&#039;t worry, Gypsy. We won&#039;t let them get you.

There was a woman there walking her bunny.

Gypsy and the bunny weren&#039;t too keen on each other.

This big burly guy is a sucker for a kitten.

We walked around campus a bit. This is Hill Auditorium.

Here&#039;s the building my dad&#039;s office was in.

Fancy on the outside.

And fancy on the inside.

Here was the new theater where he directed.

The famous campus bell tower chimes every 15 minutes.

The old theater building where I took classes had been razed, but the church across the street was still there.

The Fleetwood Diner had the best breakfast in town.

I shared the top floor of this house with two roommates.

We stopped by the Law School campus.

Both my brothers and my sister-in-law went here.

It was a perfect place to hang out some more.

Having two pets with us does limit what we can do.

We have to take turns going into stores or other buidlings.

So hanging out on a blanket on a beautiful day was perfect.

Bailey&#039;s very patient with Gypsy.

But sometimes she steals her toys.

When Gypsy&#039;s had enough, she crawls into her house.

No one can resist Gypsy.

Young and old are drawn to her.

Such an exquisitely beautiful campus.

With a sense of humor.

We found a great restaurant where we could take both the pets.

More fans.

We brought birthday cake back to the RV.

The next day was really Kate&#039;s birthday, and she got to loll about.

She sorted her stones and chose some to send to Jesse.
