One Year on the Road

We found this great park in downtown Pelican Rapids.

It had campsites available right in the park.

The hookups for RVs were in the parking lot above.

But we preferred this perfect site right on the water.

It was a little bit of a squeeze with the slideouts.

But the most idyllic site with water on three sides.

With a view like this, who needs hookups?

This took the bite out of having to work all weekend.

The mosquitos came out at sunset, so we set up our screen tent.

This otter swam by us a lot.

And these incredibly bright orange birds.

Kate is a great kitty mom.

She loves her so much!

The pedestrian bridge to town from the park was decorated for the weekend festival.

The flags represent all the cultures in the community.

Across the bridge, two BBQ pits would be filled with roasting turkeys the next day.

Amazing tile art, especially for an alley.
