One Year on the Road

Brownwood was the village closest to our campground.

It has an Old West theme.

The town square stage, where live music plays every night.

Christmas tree in the square.

Stautue of the founder.

On Saturday, there was an open market.

A brown Newfoundland.

Golf carts reign.

I love all the different styles.

Like a 60s Chevy.

Or a Model T.

This is an actual golf cart taxi.

They have gas stations just for carts.

Our spot in the campground.

The sites were pretty crammed in.

But there was a pretty field of cows at the end of our road.

We never did see any armadillos.

Gypsy in one of her favorite places.

Hanging by a claw.

Sleeping on a rainy day.

That cat knows how to relax.

With attitude.

A different Villages town square.

Kate and I tried riding our bikes between villages.

But there were so many carts, it was crazy.

On a quiet stretch.

Lots and lots of golf courses.

Themed homes and shops.

Even the beach bathrooms are cute.

This village was on a lake.

Cuteness abounds.

The Rolls Royce of golf carts.

A love bug?

I think driving a golf cart around would be great fun.

Dinner with Michael and Dee.

Dee and Timmy.

Michael and Dee left before we did.

Kate helped just a little on my puzzle.

I worked on it for days.

I got it at the Walker Museum in Minneapolis.

Finally finished.

Sometimes Gypsy and Bailey play together.

It&#039;s a high-five kind of game.

They&#039;re just so sweet together.

Kate did a bunch of laundry.

I stopped by the jam session at the clubhouse.

A little toe-heel...

And some shuffleboard.

I coerce Kate into playing.
