Sherry and David just moved to Clackamas (outside of Portland) from Mill Valley.

We stopped at a parking lot near Sherry and David's to unhook the car.

Their rescue dog, Mia.

Their 17-year-old dog, Pucini.

Bailey was right at home in the dog-friendly house.

Jeeves was checking out my photos.

They also have two cockatiels: Jeeves and Hercules.

He was quite bold.

Lots to see in Portland.

The Portland Building was once named "the ugliest building in the U.S."

Benson added "Benson Bubblers" all over the city in the 1800s to keep loggers from going to bars on their lunch breaks.

We stopped for a drink at Starbucks.

Toodling by a famous mural.

We went on a two-hour Segway tour downtown.

So much fun!

We crossed a bridge and rode along the waterfront.

We went back over this famous old bridge by the Portland Oregon sign.

Along the east side waterfront where the plum trees were in bloom.

They have an incredible view from their dining/living area.

They see Mount Hood every day.

Back at Sherry and David's.

Mia snugged in for a nap.

David cooked up a tri-tip on their new Traeger smoker.

The mountain turns pink at sunset.

An evening toast.

A morning sunrise.

Breakfast in the plum blossoms and sunshine.

So great to see these wonderful old friends again.
