One Year on the Road

We landed at this beautiful state park at the end of the day.

It was last day the campground was open.

And there was almost no one there.

We had time to take the fur kids for a little hike before dark.

Gypsy wore her new cozy sweater.

Sometimes she likes to hitch a ride.

There were yurts at the park.

Our pretty spot.

In the morning, I went for a bike ride on the trails.

It was so beautiful.

There were many junctions, and I got a little lost.

But I found my way back.

The fishing dock by the campground.

Birds and reflections.

Very still.

Floating leaves.

The path from the pond.

There was a tree bursting full of these red berries.

Crabapples? I didn&#039;t know.

My trusty steed.

Finally back to Bessie.

Our map is filling up.

Our beautiful campsite.

We met Amy, who&#039;s living on the road fulltime.

She and her husband sell products at dog shows.

Gypsy takes a break on our walk.

While Gypsy climbed a tree, Bailey made dog angels.

It was a soft bed of fragrant needles.

She found a stick to chew.

Meanwhile, Gypsy was climbing.

&quot;That&#039;s a little high, Gypsy.&quot;

But she just kept going.

Until her leash snagged on a branch.

Guess who had to climb up to get her?

&quot;Thanks, Mom.&quot;

I always did love to climb trees, and this was a great one.

When Bailey realized I was up in the tree, she ran in crazy circles around the tree.

She really didn&#039;t think I should be up there.

She gives me a loving reprimand.

She&#039;s the best dog in the world.

And Gypsy&#039;s the greatest cat.
