One Year on the Road

We had a huge site in a completely empty loop.

Seemed like a good time to wash for Toadie.

Being toad is hard on a car.

Gypsy wants to help.

Kate polished it to a gleam.

The campground was on Lake Pend d&#039;Oriele.

It&#039;s a huge lake in Idaho.

We went to the day use area, which was also empty.

Except for a million prairie dogs.

Bailey swam at the empty boat launch.

Gypsy hates it when Bailey goes in the water.

But Bailey&#039;s just fine.

Swimming, followed by stck chasing. What could be better?

We had a fire for the first time in ages.

And nice enough to eat outside.

Grilled stead, potatoes and corn. Yum!

For a nap, Gypsy tucked herself into the seat cover.

Her fur is irresistably soft.

This museum in the park was closed.

It&#039;s in an old Navy brig, dedicated to the WWII Navy cadets who trained here.

This one was an MP no doubt.

It was nice to have some real grass at our campsite.

And a fire the second night.

Kate repairs our bike cover with material from a discarded camp chair found in Arkansas.

All the lower 48 except Nevada.

On our way out of Idaho, we stopped in Sandpoint.

We took the fur kids for a walk around town.

A beautiful alley.
