One Year on the Road

We flew up to Seattle on Friday, Dec. 5 and were picked up by our saleman, Jim Cudney.

Jim drove us to the dealership in Marysville, where we had a 3-hour orientation.

Friday night, we drove the RV to Claire and Marsha&#039;s house.

We spent the night in our favorite guest room...

... and woke up to this.

After breakfast, we showed off the RV.

Claire and Marsha were the ones who had originally recommended this model to us.

So of course they approved of our choice.

This bed might be a little short for them.

We drove into town to find a level spot so we could put out the slides.

The slides really open it up.

Now that&#039;s a comfy bedroom!

I drove it onto the ferry.

Good thing I was last on, with some empty space around me.

Next stop, Tobi&#039;s house in Seattle.

Tobi took us to a fundraiser for a gender queer support center that night.

The bathrooms were open to all genders that night.

Tobi&#039;s cat, Sammy, came for a visit.

Kate drove most of the way to Portland.

I took a turn for a while.

In Portland, we had a quick visit with Kate&#039;s old friend, Sherry, and her husband, David.

Kate and Sherry have known each other since elementary school.

Sherry and David just moved to Portland from Mill Valley and bought this huge house.
