One Year on the Road

From the Visitors Center parking lot.

I thought I might be a little tired of looking at big rocks.

But Arches National Park is really astounding.

My photos don&#039;t do it justice.&#039;

It takes about 45 minutes to drive to the end of the park.

And every corner you turn reveals more jaw-dropping views.

Delicate Arch is the most famous rock in Arches.

We couldn&#039;t take Bailey on the trail so had to view it from a distance.

More spring.

When we left Arches, we took Bailey on a refreshing hike on Negro Bill&#039;s trail.

The trail was just east of Mohab and followed a stream.

We were so close to Canyonlands NP, we decided to check it out.

We went to the first viewpoint.

An interesting but desolate view.

We didn&#039;t have time to explore further.

We drove south of Mohab, toward Page.

We hoped to find a cheap place to stay the night.

We found Devil&#039;s Canyon National Forest park.

No hook-ups, but only $10, and a very nice park.
