One Year on the Road

Kate said the wallpaper in the downstairs hallway had to go.

So we scraped it all off.

And then we painted the walls and trim.

While we were at it, the closets all needed painting.

And we emptied the workshop and tiled the floor to use the space for storage.

I repainted the front porch and deck.

And we packed up the teardrop to store in Kathleen&#039;s garage.

We filled it to the rafters.

Neither was painting the window frames by the front door.

So much sorting to be done.

We hired out replacing the lower deck floor boards.

Alfredo and Pat did a great job.

I stained the bare places, then had to scramble to cover it from the rain.

Then we replaced all the old blue carpet.

There was a lot of it.

To list the house for rent, I had to take lots of photos.
